– mediocre start

+, + but then the visuals got a huge bump up, with well done color direction, and at later moments too it had a bit of that blue + orange lights magic that the Killzone games usually did so well

-, -, – the stealth system was barely developed, no branching, no choices

+, + good music

– some missed opportunities, at times it seemed like the game might even play a bit with “it’s in his head” stuff

+, +, +, + some writing, not necessarily the story, but some dialogues and passerby talk was just two notches above everything else

– particularly IMHO uncool mechs

+, + nice variety of locations, particularly the moon base was very interesting and well done

– the villains were particularly one dimensional

Overall: 1 (on a -5 to 5 scale). Enjoyable for the people into shooters, with some extraordinary moments but also in other ways not standing out enough from the typical shooter crown sometimes even wallowing in this “i’m a soldier” stuff and thus missing the opportunity to move to a higher scale. Still, great artwork at times and the writing has some fantastic sections, particularly in some audio journals (though for some reason they could only be listened in the menus).
