I don't remember such skeletons on a throne in Dark Messiah. This one was based on Skyrim. But about Dark Messiah, curious what it's like to play it as a thief. As a mage it was quite difficult but seeing the many dark spots I later realized that playing as another character might have been very different. It's very nice how they made so different playstiles possibles.

Dark Messiah ? I prefer playing as a thief, you got a lot of armor and a powerful guy very soon in the game.

Hey! Some very incisive and interesting observations there!
I personally didn't use the horsey much for camera 1st person reasons, and thus to me it was a drawback as obviously the developers meant me to do do it and they stopped me from levelupping my hyper running (yeayyy Morrowind!!!), but i did like this one thing where I was riding a horse and ... hmmm, this is gonna sound cruel, but please forgive me, don't mean it that way: so, i was riding, and running from monsters or something and by mistake i fell off a cliff... usually I would have died but the horse broke my fall. Died unfortunately, but it was a nice piece of dynamic storytelling.
I too hope to get back to it, i know there were a lot of quests undone, but they were more minor ones, and from the thieves guild which were like bullies this time around, however i'm hoping some addon will come out and it'll give me a great excuse to jump back in, though I may do so before.

Wooooooot, 170h?! The time, the very precious time! But yeah, I guess that would be about right for a game the size of Skyrim.
I think this is one of the very few games I've played and enjoyed in the last few year (others being Minecraft and Angry Birds :P). Of course, I only have around 40h (at max) of gameplay at the moment but it's still on my HDD and I'm hoping I will have time to get back to it.
I loooooved the huge world and that you could buy your own house(s) and I loved how it was designed. I didn't mind the nordic scenery, for me it made the story more immersive. Plus, it made appreciate sunny areas more (oh, and this awesome place with shallow water and natural pools where hunters went to relax :D).
I really liked the assassin line of quests and one of the skills I would really like to develop is sneaking (kinda hard to do when wearing heaving armour).
I hated how the map would get filled up with different markers to the point you couldn't see the landscape anymore. And I hated you couldn't attack while of horse back. No bow&arrow, no sword, no nothing. Buuut, I did love the horses. The way they looked, how you could travel with them , the fact that I could cross a freaking mountain on horse back (Shadowmere <3) and that if someone attacked you it would jump right into the fight to protect you. That's my horsey! :D Oh, and I also disliked how repetitive it would get in the lines of quests, especially those you could get from the notice boards (and the ones I stopped doing first). Kudos for having a quest tracking system, although it wasn't applicable for all quests.
All in all, I enjoyed my experience so far and I'm hoping to continue it.

she aims, she shoots, aaaaand... sheee aa scoooreees! :D
Yes, that moment was surprisingly eeeeky even by the high standards set by a game in which limbs being ripped off or cut off by a closing doorway were a common thing.
