Patapon ad
0Now this is a brilliantly made ad: emotionally engaging, personal, catchy, stylish… I bet it had great success.

3Well… I thought of a new game … a game about games. I’m always learning to improve my art creation skilss… i love games… and i’m particularly inspired by game artwork, so… I’m thinking about regularly (possibly daily) allocating 30 mins (‘fraid that time might include image pick and even posting for time budgeting) for a quick sketch based on a scene from a game (feel free to sugest stuff and take cool game screenshots!). Also to make it entertaining i figured we could turn it into a lil quizz… like guesss the game!
Now I realize that at this level of finish and/or with liberties i might take the chances of anybody (even me) guessing the game are slim… still, who knows. I guess i could take iconic moments from iconic games… but since my main goal in this exercise is for me to imprint into my midn visual ideas i liked/styles/architectures/angles I think i’ll be choosing mostly artsy imagery as opposed to easy to recognise ones (doom 2 level 1 anybody ? :)) ).
What do you think?
Inceptionauts
0I actually found Psychonauts‘ world much more rich in ideas and originality (with of course scaled down graphics) and a better story… still, a fun see for those who’ve seen both :)) It’s nice to see the mediums slowly bridging the gaps in several ways.
